Lesson 1—Introduction, Supplies & Cutting

Welcome to our free SINGER® MOMENTO™ Sew-Along and Giveaway, presented by our friends at SINGER®! Over the next few weeks, you will learn how to make a beautiful drawstring bag that features a quilt block personalized with embroidery. The project was designed by SINGER® educator Meredith McClanahan, who will host the video lessons.

This first lesson covers the supplies, cutting and more for the project. The lessons will explore the SINGER® MOMENTO™ cutting machine and how you can use this as another tool in your sewing room—as well as in many other crafting endeavors! While you do not have to use a cutting machine to participate in the sew-along, several of its features make this a fast and easy project. Be sure to enter the giveaway for your chance to win your own SINGER® MOMENTO™ (valued at $849.99). Visit our sew-along homepage to enter.
